Ecological Management Group provides an independent, professional, high quality and multi-disciplinary ecological and environmental research capability promoting the conservation and management of wildlife, landscapes and the environment. Our strengths lie in the substantial experience our research scientists have in working on many different wildlife projects and the integrated approach we adopt in our research activities. This integration extends to the application of sophisticated tools such as Geographic Information Systems and Database Management to investigate issues in wildlife and environmental ecology.

Research scientists in Ecological Management Group are qualified to PhD level, competent and motivated. Previous studies of our staff have included investigating the ecology of badger populations in the British Isles, the ecology of wolf-ungulate interactions in eastern European Forests and the impact of land use change on the ecology of red foxes, important prey species (including the Irish hare) and vulnerable wader populations. From project conception to delivery of final reports our clients can be confident that our research services represent an independent, expert and verifiable data source that will aid in informed and applied management based decisions for species, landscapes and the environment.
